SMA NEGERI 1 Bukittinggi is one of a favorite Senior High School in Bukittinggi. It is located on Jalan Syekh M Jamil Jambek No. 36 (Landbouw) Bukittinggi. I't a kind of "Rintisan Sekolah Bertaraf Internasional" in Indonesia. There are many teeneagers from different Junior High School have dream to be a student of SMAN 1 Bukittinggi, because according to the residnts in Bukittinggi, SMAN 1 Bukittinggi is agood Senior High School with many kind of achivements, in the way of Academic, Art, Sport, and many other. Not only the teenagers, but there are also many parents want their children become the student of SMAN 1 BUkittinggi. To be a student of SMAN 1 Bukittinggi ain't easy, the teenagers shuold fullfil many kinds of test for it, not only Academic Test but also the interview in English.
There are 30 classes in SMAN 1 Bukittinggi now, consits of 8 classes for 10 grade, 9 classes for 11 grade, 11 classes for 12 grade, and 2 classes for Acceleration class. This school also has many kind of Extracuricular, such as OSIS, PMR, SISPALA, PASKI PRAMUKA, SKETSA, KIR, CINEMATOGRAFI and so on.
The students, teachers, and people in this school are kind, friendly, and has so many kinds of other good traits. It's fun and comfortable being a student of SMAN 1 Bukittinggi. And mostly, the students and the whole family of SMAN 1 Bukittinggi are proud of being the par of this school.
